Pray
Your prayers and your texts, organised for daily reading.
Getting started
- Nusach: a community's prayer tradition (for example Sephardi or Ashkenazi), which sets the order and wording of the texts.
- Shacharit: the morning prayer.
- Mincha: the afternoon prayer.
- Arvit: the evening prayer.
- Korbanot: passages about the Temple offerings, read at the start of the morning prayer.
- Pesukei Dezimra: “verses of praise”, psalms and praises read before the Shema in the morning prayer.
Indicative editorial notes — not a halakhic ruling. Nusach has no single source: a descriptive term.
To check
- Three prayers (Abraham, Isaac, Jacob) : Berakhot 26b
- Pesukei Dezimra : Shabbat 118b
- Reciting the offering passages : Shulchan Arukh, Orach Chayim 1:5
