Purpose of the service

The website offers study content and tools related to the Torah and the Jewish calendar, as well as the possibility of supporting the association. Access to content is free.

Informational nature of the content

Content is provided for information and study purposes. It is not legal advice, medical advice, or a personal halakhic ruling.

Sources

Texts and references come from identified sources whose applicable licences are listed on the “Sources & licences” page. Translations and adaptations are used in compliance with those licences.

Torah Assistant

The Torah Assistant is an AI-assisted study tool. It provides study material with sources, without being a rabbinical authority.

For a personal decision, particularly in matters of Halakha, family, health or money, consult a competent Rav.

Service availability

The association strives to provide continuous access to the service without being able to guarantee it. The service may be interrupted, modified or undergo maintenance.

Liability

The association takes reasonable care over content quality and website operation. It cannot be held liable for the use you make of the content, nor for the consequences of technical unavailability.

Intellectual property

Elements belonging to THORA FREE, notably the name, logo, texts written by the association and the layout, are protected. Unauthorised reproduction is prohibited, except under a statutory exception or applicable licence.

Prohibited behaviour

• attempting to disrupt, overload or bypass the security of the service;
• mass automated extraction of content;
• using the service for unlawful, misleading or offensive purposes;
• impersonating another person or a rabbinical authority.

External links

The website may link to third-party services, independent of the association, which remain responsible for their own content and terms.

Donations

Donations are voluntary. Information about the processing of donations is set out in the legal notice and the privacy policy. No automatic tax advantage is promised: records are issued according to the features actually enabled and the applicable framework.
