לבחור ירא ה׳ שרוצה שתזדמן לו כלה הגונה יתפלל בכונה תפלה זו:
רבש״ע בחסדך יצרת עולמך ובראת אדם ועשית לו עזר וצויתנו לישא אשה ולהוליד בנים והחמירו עבדיך רז״ל שלא לאחר מצוה זו. ויען חיי האדם בע״הז ובע״הב תלויים כמעט באשה ובע״הר אין עוד נביא ולא בעלי רו״הק לדעת איזו ראויה כדי לקיים מצותיך. לכן בלב נשבר באתי להפיל תחינתי לפניך אב הרחמן ויהרמ״י או״א שתתמלא רחמים עלי ותזמין לי בת זוג נאה יראת ה׳ ובעלת מדות טובות ובעלת מז״ט וטובת שכל ומוצלחת ומבורכת כי בזה אוכל לעבוד עבודת הק׳ בלי טרדה. והיה הנערה אשר ידברו לי עליה והיא ראויה ויש לה יראת ה׳ ומדות טובות ומז״ט והוגנת לי ברחמיך הרבים תחון עלי ותטה לבי לגמור הדבר באופן שאוכל לקיים מצותיך וטוב לי בעו״הז ובע״הב אל מלא רחמים ״רחום ״חנון ״שומר ״תומך ״מציל ״ישר ״פודה (יכוין בשם רחש תמיף) עזר״ני עדכ״ש עשה למען שמך כו׳ חנני וענני ושמע תפלתי (יכוין בשם אראריתא) כי אתה שומע תפלת כל פה ברוך שומע תפלה (יכוין אוכץ אזבוגה) יהיו לרצון אמרי פי והגיון לבי לפניך ה׳ צורי וגואלי:
